DEEPAVALI | DIWALI | HAPPY DIWALI


Deepavali means  " row of lighted lamps " or the festival of light. this festival celebrated on the
fifteenth day of " kartika". It is the day when shri Ram, Sita and Lakshmana returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile.  Happiness, peace and harmony came back to ayodhya. It is the day we harvest the results of our hard work blessed with wealth by mother Lakshmi.
                                       In different parts of India, Deepavali is celebrated differently. Generally, the
festival begins with Dhanteras, a day set aside to worship Lakshmi on the second day that is Naraka Chaturdashi - Kali, the goddess of strength is worshiped.

                                      On the third day that is Deepavali  (The last day of the year in the lunar calendar) lamps are lit, gift are exchanged, crackers are burst. The fourth day of Deepavali falls on the first day of the lunar new year. At this time old business accounts are settled and new books are opened.
                                        Fill the heart with the oil of love, place in it the wick of single - pointed mind. Light it with the knowledge of truth and remove the darkness of ignorance around you.  HAPPY DIWALI..
